Gary
"Every step is a good step."
For those of us who have ever hacked our way down the golf course, we can appreciate the natural talent and hard work it takes to become a tournament champion. Gary golfed only off and on since the 1970s. But he didnt start golfing seriously until 1994, and in such a short time, is now one of the worlds top amputee golfers.
Gary holds numerous titles, including the 1998 National Amputee Golf Association (NAGA) Championship in the below-knee division and the 2003 NAGA Senior Championship. His next goal is to attend the Senior PGA Tours Qualifying School in November, which he became eligible for in February when he turned 50.
Gary can walk 18 holes with every step as a good step and still go home and be active with his family.
