Walking into SRT, you will be greeted by
a smiling face. We want you to feel at home here at SRT, and we provide a
competent, professional, yet casual atmosphere.
After checking in with our staff, you
are escorted to a patient room by Cindy, Dave, Tiffany, or Dawn, who will
obtain a brief medical history from you.
Copies of your insurance cards will be
taken with your patient information. This information will then be
transferred to our Bryan
billing office where Jessica and Tabitha specialize in working with insurance companies and DME. Your next
appointment will include patient financial counseling with your
practitioner. He or she will let you know of any deductibles or patient
co-pays.
SRT Prosthetics does not charge for an office
visit. SRT is in-network with the majority, or all major insurance
companies in the area, and works with all insurance to make sure the
patient has payment portions that are as small as possible.
When you come in for delivery of the device,
you will be fitted and trained in the wear and care of the device.
Depending on what the device is, you will be scheduled for a check-up
appointment. Prosthetic patients may have more follow-up appointments;
these appointments are determined according to the patient's rehabilitation
progress and changes in residual limb size and volume.
Continued care is very important. You
are given our phone numbers and a patient satisfaction survey. You are
encouraged to call us with any questions or problems, and you will
immediately be scheduled for an appointment to evaluate or correct any
problems. We work closely with all physical therapists and doctors. We also
work with specialists like Todd and Dennis (instructors of amputee running
clinics) to help you reach your goals and constantly improve your life.
