Together, along with your physician and
rehabilitation specialists, we assess your needs and wants in terms of function,
cosmesis (looks), and comfort.
Custom Design and
Fitting
Your prosthesis or orthosis is designed
specifically for you through the use of casts, measurements, computer-aided
design, and working models.
First Fitting and
Alignment
We ensure that each component part meet
specifications for maximal fit and your comfort. Alignment is carefully
adjusted to your individual gait and balance.
Final Fitting
Following a complete check of your
prosthesis or orthosis, you are thoroughly instructed in its capabilities,
function, and use.
Ongoing Concern and
Care
Following the final fitting, you are then
carefully monitored to ensure continuing fit for comfort and alignment, as
well as for functionality and use as your
activity increases.
Hospital Calls and Home
Visits
If transportation is an issue, we do make
hospital calls and home visits for those with transportation problems.
However, it may be necessary to charge for these special services.
