Cosmetic Feet
The key to meeting your expectations for
quality and a natural look lies in our comprehensive process. We start with
a footplate and detailed plaster molds of your sound and limb-deficient
sides. To add the proper details, you select a silicone color swatch, and
provide photographs and notes to further define the appearance. To be sure
that the prosthesis is clinically sound, we use your detailed measurements
and plaster mold to determine symmetry and proper shoe fit.
You wear a trial check prosthesis and
provide feedback during an evaluation that takes place one to two weeks
later, allowing the definitive prosthesis to incorporate your desired
changes.
The final prosthesis is fabricated from
a high-quality, medical-grade silicone. The color pigmentation is
impregnated throughout the material, creating a long-lasting, natural look.
Optionally, personal details such as
freckles, blood vessels, and colored nails can be added to match your
features. You can even relieve areas of pressure by integrating softer
custom-designed silicone gel pads.
The
final result is a durable, completely unique product that suits your
cosmetic needs.
